Organizations today require managers who can lead through meaningful conversations, develop talent, and foster accountability within teams. To support this need, Ayanthi Philip delivered the Coaching Conversations for Managers programme, designed to strengthen coaching capability among people leaders.
The programme focused on developing essential coaching skills including active listening, powerful questioning, constructive feedback, trust-building, and goal setting. Through practical exercises, role plays, and real workplace scenarios, participants gained hands-on experience in conducting coaching conversations that support both individual and team performance.
Managers were introduced to coaching frameworks such as GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) and Co-Active Coaching techniques, enabling them to structure conversations that promote ownership, reflection, and action.
As a result, participants reported greater confidence in coaching their teams, improved communication effectiveness, and a stronger ability to support employee development. The programme also contributed to building a more collaborative and growth-oriented leadership culture within the organization.
